If you would like to retreat next to the beach and be immersed in the Ecuadorian tropical nature but still prefer to experience the comfort of a hotel, then you are maybe a glamping adventurer. Taking care of nature without sacrificing your comfort means "glamping" (camping with glamour) and it is what Cabalonga provides its guests with.

Located 50 meters from the beach, Cabalonga Lodge offers its guests a pleasant and relaxing retreat amongst tropical nature, built inside bamboo fences to give privacy but at the same time catch the sea breeze from the Pacific Ocean.

Cabalonga loves nature and its guests also do. Its facilities are mainly built with renewable materials such as bamboo cane, an endemic cane to Manabí province.  Thus, Cabalonga is happy to welcome you in its eco-friendly glamping tents and bungalows.

If  you wish to leave later, it is necessary to check availability, this will cost half of the previous night's stay to continue enjoying the sea and the Cabalonga facilities until 4:00 pm.

King Glamping Tent

For a romantic retreat amongst the sea and the forest, these glamping tents features a king size bed, the perfect nest for a couple.

If the direct sea breeze is not enough, you can make use of the free standing fan available in your unit, and if you want to connect with the outside world you can plug your electronic devices and link to the free Wi-Fi, all this from the comfort of your tent. Right outside your cabin, a hammock will always be at your disposal for stargazing at night.

Double bed equipped with sheets, pillows and duvet. Each unit features towels, a free standing fan, a lamp, a bedside table, a trash can, a carpet and a hammock. Every cabin has electricity and lighting. You will have access to shared bathroom facilities (split for women and men) with hot water, shampoo dispensers and liquid soap. Other facilities include free parking, Wi-Fi, common TV lounge.

The tent is protected by a straw roof against sun and rain, and is within Cabalonga fenced facilities, with direct access to Puerto Cayo beach.

During the campfire you will be gifted a welcome drink.

Group Glamping Tent

Accommodates up to 4 people

If you decide to escape and get together with your friends or family to the heart of nature at Puerto Cayo, you will be welcome in our group tent. This unit features two double beds equipped with sheets, pillows and duvets. At the end of the day you can gather around a campfire, provided by Cabalonga, to praise nature and nourish fraternity.

Moreover, if you need to let the rest of your friends know how incredible everything is going in Manabí tropical nature, you can easily connect to the free Wi-Fi available in Cabalonga installations.

Activities at Cabalonga

If a day of EcoAdventure is not enough, Cabalonga keeps you entertained through various activities such as: surfing, cycling, karaoke, campfires and much more entertainment that varies from week to week.

During the day

We motivate our guests to sightsee Puerto Cayo nature by riding a moto-tricycle, a bike or surfing the see. In Cabalonga you will find bicycles and surfboards on rent. You can also profit from our eco touristic activities. 

During the night

We get our guests together and organize a campfire at about 8.30 pm, this moment is perfect to share experiences and enjoy the night.

At our bar you can order appetizers and exotic cocktails.
